Preparations are underway for TMA’s 12th Annual Gala to be held Friday, April 17, 2026, at South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center. We are excited that Nate Lytle will be joining us as our Guest Speaker. Nate has such an inspiring faith journey, and he has a beautiful heart lead to serve kids with learning differences. Back by popular demand is Aric Harding, Emcee, Greg Seay, Jr., Entertainment, and Tim Alexander, Auctioneer.

The Momentum Academy is an academic and therapeutic learning center that partners with families, to encourage students to realize their full potential, identity, and value. Individualized curriculum is designed specifically for each student and carried out with a low student/teacher ratio. Taking into account the academic, emotional, and spiritual needs of each student, The Momentum Academy views each pupil holistically so as to nurture the whole child.
As the enrollment grows, it is the goal that class sizes remain between 8 and 10 students. Our certified teachers are trained and experienced in instructing students with learning differences. As a result of the teachers’ empathetic, caring and creative approach to instruction, students are able to maximize their potential.
The Momentum Academy believes the potential of all students is often untapped and that by teaching to individual learning styles, building on students' strengths, and remediating areas of weakness, all students will have a solid foundation and the self-esteem to allow them to achieve their loftiest goals.
Our school customizes learning to fit the student. Each student receives whatever type of specialized instruction he or she needs. Our school is particularly appropriate for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, expressive and receptive language disorders, ADHD/ADD, auditory processing disorder, anxiety, and high-functioning autism.
Our campus is located within the Greater Bay Area and our unique programing serves students from Webster, Clear Lake, Kemah, Seabrook, Clear Lake Shores, Friendswood, League City, Dickinson, Texas City, La Marque, Santa Fe, Galveston, Pearland, Pasadena, Alvin, Baytown, and Houston.
The Momentum Academy plans to offer elementary grades in the future.
